"Dad is a tribute to my father who passed away a year before I completed the rug. The hardest thing about hooking this rug was the people’s faces. They were very small and I had never hooked a face before. The first one took eight hours!
The rug contains a small compilation of family memorabilia. I used clothing from everyone in my family to hook the rug and included motifs that were meaningful to out family.
The school, which my brother, sister, and I also attended, is still standing. Needless to say, it’s a family favorite."
