"This rug was inspired by a photo I took of my husband and our dog, Sophie, a few days after my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. It will be a special memory of him. The rug looks exactly like them both. I didn’t have a problem with any part of this rug. His shirt was the most fun and so easy… like putting together a puzzle. The hexagon back is an afterthought, and I’m glad it turned out well. Sophie’s fur was just following the colors of her fur—all repurposed and new wool."
