"The rug was a commissioned piece that when it was completed I hoped the person wouldn’t accept it. Yes, I loved how it turned out and it was one of the easiest rugs I ever hooked. It seemed that specific fabrics would almost jump in my hand when I started a new motif. I choose to use one color for both the background and the outside border to make the rug look larger. The dark background made the pineapples sing."
