Holiday Hoop Ornaments

Inspiration for my hoop ornaments came from a local garden store, where I saw small embroidered or cross-stitched Christmas tree ornaments that featured colorful stars or geometric designs. I had never before seen an embroidery hoop used as the final frame on which the embroidery or needlepoint project was displayed. I had always seen the projects removed from the hoop and framed behind glass.
