The Betsy Ross Flag

I am a 19-year-old college student and neighbor to Kathy Donovan of Checkmate Farm in Bluemont, Virginia. After seeing many of her handmade rugs and wall hangings, I became fascinated with punch needle. Soon after, I accepted a job with Checkmate Farm, where Mrs. Donovan immediately taught me the basic techniques. As my skills have advanced, Mrs. Donovan has been there to provide patience and guidance. Punch needle is now my favorite spare time activity.
