On the Prowl/Grace Truman

Growing up in Michigan’s upper peninsula, I was blessed to be surrounded by nature. I loved the outdoors and spent as much time as possible outside. When indoors, I enjoyed books and handwork, but my opportunities for learning crafts were limited since our small town had no library and my school had no art classes. I left my Lake Superior village when I went to college. I now live in lower Michigan, but the North Woods has never left my heart.
