Thirty Years of Rug Hooking

I started rug hooking shortly after Rug Hooking magazine began, nearly thirty years ago. Over that time, I have seen many changes in this craft. The rugs have changed and the people have changed too.

So many wonderful people have contributed so much over these years. RHM has had many good people edit and contribute to it—people who love both the written word and the craft itself. I have written for the magazine for about twenty years and been on the editorial board for nearly as long. Rug hooking is a small community, and with the exception of our wonderful guild newsletters, RHM remains the only major publication that focuses on rug hooking with wool cloth strips and yarn.
