"I wanted a fresh look for our back hall. It had two of the first rugs I ever made on the floor, and they were looking kind of tired at forty years old. I had made a table runner eight years ago that featured different borders, so I thought it I just expanded that idea to a long hall runner, it would work well. When I did the table runner eight years ago, I had no idea it would become a study for a larger rug! The hall runner uses the same colors as the table runner (gold, red, and green), but they are placed differently for the floor runner."
