"This was a free pattern in Rug Hooking Magazine, and I fell in love with the colors. Since the formulas were given in the article, and I was a fairly new rug hooker, I decided to tackle it! Enlarging the pattern was a challenge because being a geometric, it needed to be on the straight grain of the rug warp. To keep the foundation from being skewed, I tacked it to a large old mattress box laid on saw horses. I soon learned that a #6-cut on rug warp was hard for me to pull through, so I went to a #4- and #5-cut! I still love this rug. The colors are very satisfying to me."
