"This adaptation of Pierre-August Renoir's Dance at Bougival was an interesting piece to hook. The dancers are the focal point and were the most challenging part to hook. I had to make sure that I captured the movement of the lady's dress and the strength and closeness of the gentleman to her. The people and trees in the background created the stir and noise of a café. When I look at this rug today, I can almost hear the music playing, her dress swishing with each step, and everyone enjoying an afternoon together."
