Are you a new rug hooker who wants to learn about hooking animals? Do you want to use as-is textured wools but don’t know where to start? Would you like to hook realistically using a wide cut? Here is a small project that will help you learn some of the tricks for using as-is textured wools in an animal.

Let’s look at a turkey feather and learn step by step how to mix as-is wools, using wide cuts, to create a realistic hooked rug.
