Easy Frame Cover

Dear Beginning Rug Hooker

By: Donna Lees Bleam

If you would like to have a cover for your hooking frame but don’t want to spend money or sew, this is an article just for you.

All you need to get started are scissors, a ruler, a marker, and a piece of wool coating material or an old woolen blanket at least 10 inches wider and longer than the inside edge of your frame.

This article is from the January/February 2012 issue. For more information on our issues, check out our issues page.

I am not able to access further directions. Is the cover done simply by cutting 10 larger than frame?

I can't access it either. I thought it was my computer!
