Even rug hookers who enjoy the planning phase of a new rug can find the prospect of sizing the pattern elements awkward: enlarging images on a photocopier can be expensive, using a grid to redraw and resize is slow and tedious, freehanding the design directly onto the rug foundation leaves too much room for error. So what's a rug hooker to do?
