In days past, for generation on generation, from peasant to princess, all would have had a sewing workbox or basket to hold sewing needles and tools. By the eighteenth century, enterprising craftsmen created one-of-a-kind decorative workboxes for ladies of a certain social standing. My punch hook workbox echos back to that time. I added my own twist to this long-standing essential accessory. You too can create one to hold your punch or rug hooking tools.
