Materials: Wool, polyester, pearls, crystals, and glass on monk's cloth.
Inspired by a vintage dress and designed and hooked by Cindy Irwin, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, 2017.

"I've always wanted to hook a series of dresses in different historic styles. This is the first one. I find that my rugs tell me what they want, for example, color and embellishments. I love to use gemstones on my hooked pieces and this one told me it wanted lots of them! I also used some chiffon type fabrics glued on top of dyed wool."
