Share Your Photos - January February 2017

The cold, blustery winds of winter always seem to be worth it once you spot those first glistening flakes of snow coming down. The crisp sparkle, the hopeful feeling, and the unique shape of each flake make snow the iconic symbol of the season, which is why it's time to show us how you capture winter in your hooked masterpieces. Show off a snowy wonderland, a window view with hot cocoa in hand, or any other imaginative design which features a snowy style.

It's easy: just add a comment to this page and upload a photo to show us what you have hooked. And be sure to check out Karen Larsen's article on her own snowy scene as well as her tips on how the "Purkinje effect" shapes the way rug hookers tackle the challenge of snow! Her article plus other fresh designs can be found in the January/February 2017 issue of Rug Hooking magazine.

GREAT ALL PHOTOS

Couple years ago I hooked a dog and snowman chair pad that I designed. I place it on a chair during the winter months. It was fun to do.
