Playing with geometrics

By: Tatiana Knodel
Beautifully Simple

At the beginning of my journey into rug hooking, I used only #3-cut solid wool strips. When I was asked to describe my favorite wide-cut rug, I could not answer the question because I had not made any wide-cut rugs. Ever. So, I decided it was time to make one.

Geometric design always appealed to me because I made a lot of engineering drawings in my life. This is the way my mind works, and I understand geometrics, repeats, straight lines, and how units work together.
