Ladies’ Nite Challenge

With a title like this, you know the rugs are going to be great.  Those of us who love the music of the 1970s and ‘80s are humming the song by Kool and the Gang! The rugs and the people who created them were given very few parameters so that the fiber artist could interpret the phrase “Ladies’ Nite” however they wished. With this call to artists, I ask each person to stretch themselves—in technique, color, or design. The only limit was their imagination! And I was pleased that several artists were so inspired by the challenge that they created more than one piece.
