Hooking a "Self-Portrait"

There were a few reasons I wanted to hook this piece. One reason had to do with my age—I am now over 70 years old. As a no-longer-young woman, it seems as if I am now perceived by many almost as if I have no opinion that matters—another older woman who can be easily dismissed.
