Searching for My Visual Language
I think of my art practice as solving a problem of my own creation, in that I am constantly making challenges for myself to stretch my creativity. In fact, this is one of the most exciting parts of consistent art making; watching ideas grow and morph and change. I believe that you only need a handful of creative ideas to make your next five years of rugs. With each rug, you only need to skew the format or colors or some other small change.
