2017 is the Chinese year of the rooster, so let’s hook a rooster! In the Chinese zodiac, the rooster is described as observant, courageous, resourceful, and self-confident. This rooster pattern certainly portrays all of that, and more—you can almost hear him crow.
 
Often rooster designs focus on the colorful body and flamboyant tail. This hooked piece has a different focus—instead of his colorful body and tail feathers, Good Morning! highlights our rooster’s head. He is a handsome fellow, as this portrait shows.
