"I am frequently asked, what is the favorite rug you’ve hooked, and I can say to this day without a doubt, it would be Aloysius. The rug currently hangs in my dining room, and I love seeing it hanging in there with gold of Aloysius set against that dark background. I remember the border being a challenge, as I quickly learned what others who have hooked a rug with geometrics have also learned: each diamond shape had to be equal in size and angle to the one featured on either side of it. I remember reverse hooking and tweaking a lot of the geometrics around that border. I was so thrilled when it was selected for an Honorable Mention in Celebration!"
