"For my next rug, I decided to make a rug that makes people smile. One of my cherished memories is that of my father singing while my mother played the piano after supper. Their favorite song was 'There’s a tree in the meadow, with a stream drifting by. I carved upon that tree "I’ll love you ‘til I die."'  Thinking of that certainly makes me smile and provided all the major elements for a new design. My grandson did a series of grand jumps off our dock while I snapped pictures to add some fun to the design."
