"It was begun with a plan at a rug camp. Then it was put away in a bag for several years. The plan just didn’t work. I pulled out all the loops and started over. There is antique paisley in the orange family in the center of each square. The rest of the wool is all leftover strips of various sizes collected over several years. The only wool cut specifically for this rug was the dark green border. It was a great way to use all those leftovers. It now graces the entrance of my butler’s kitchen and always receives compliments from guests."
