"I chose this design for the whimsical nature that food can have for the pop sensibility that can be achieved. I wanted to capture the fun of eating dim sum and the colorful experience it can be. I believe what still makes this rug successful are the simple, graphic shapes of the different variety of dim sum dumplings that are recognizable to the viewer."
