"There were many rugs with leaves, but I couldn’t find leaves changing their colors in one rug. I have some trees in my yard; their leaves show their beautiful transformation with colors and shapes throughout the year. I would like to keep them in a rug.
In my rug, leaves are turning their colors from the right top to the left bottom, meaning they're starting with light green and ending with dark brown. Also I put some very light color shadows in the background. They are hide-and-seek there. The border wools were dyed to give the same impression, from green to orange. And the whipping yarns also."
