"What a fun rug to hook! When I look at this rug, I remember how much fun I had dyeing all these colors. I dyed two or three colors on each piece of wool and started with subtle colors and color changes. Then I started experimenting, and by the time I was finished, I had a large pile of very bright wool. It was so bright, I wasn’t sure I would be able to use it in my project. Careful planning and moving the colors around allowed me to use all of them. When looking at the rug, I also see all those small red flowers going around the rug. I didn’t think I would ever get them finished!"
