"Needing some geometric designs for a class I was scheduled to teach, I created Miss Weigle in about 15 mins. one day while doodling on graph paper. I have always thought of it as a good beginner’s rug because of its focus on straight lines, corners, points, wavy lines, and circles. It was named for Betty Weigle, the lady I watched hook rugs during my childhood."
