"In 2006, while visiting the McGown Teachers' Workshop Exhibit at Caraway Rug School, I took one look at a completed Country Store and knew that I wanted to hook this rug. The pattern brought back fond memories of a general store I used to love exploring in St. James, NY. To personalize the rug, I had the gentlemen around the potbelly stove reading the "Pilot", our local newspaper in NC. I presented this rug to my brother on his 80th birthday. I think he likes it as much as I do."
