"My husband and I were fortunate enough to vacation with friends in Sweden one winter. The countryside is quite picturesque, but what really took my fancy were the doors in Gamla Stan, which is the oldest part of Stockholm. We came home with dozens of pictures of doors. Because the doors were so detailed, I drew the design directly on the linen. That way, I knew the lines would be straight. It is wonderful remembrance of the trip with our friends."
