"It really is a lovely rug. I never thought of doing it, but a lady in our group said to me one day that I should look at the pattern. Well I did. At the time I was hooking about 10 years. Dare I try this on my own? Yes, yes, yes. I like deep red roses, so that was easy. It’s the scrolls that worried me, but after some research I decided I would dye assorted color wools (i.e. blue, violet, yellow, green, pink, and natural) with same green formula, and I was off. The small flowers add some zing with the dark background, and I’m not worried about scrolls any more."
