"I’ve always loved the William Morris designs. They fit in so well with many family antiques, and his patterns only enhance them and make a fine combination. They are fun to color plan and shade, and because of the various motifs having great contrast in shadow and light, it offers a very dramatic effect. It was originally a wallpaper design, which continued off the edge of the rug, so I gave it an ending to give the rug a more finished look. I love the raspberry and peach together and just the total effect of the rug. It is still one of my favorite pieces."
