"When I knew I would be taking a workshop on hooking faces, I dug out a photo I had clipped many years ago from a local newspaper. I loved the expression on the woman's face, which I could not easily identify. I wanted to do it in sepia and thought it would be very difficult. Much to my surprise, it was not as hard as I thought. I am very happy that I could capture this lady's expression."
