Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home

They say that you are never too old to learn something new, but I wasn’t so sure about that. It all began when my daughter saw an announcement that Perry County Council of the Arts was holding a class in rug hooking at their headquarters in Newport, Pennsylvania. My daughter Julia is always up for learning how to do a new craft project, and she asked if I’d be interested in signing up with her. At first I hesitated. I had heard of rug hooking but didn’t really know what it was all about. She talked me into it, and my journey into the unknown began.
