Cats, Cats, and More Cats

My husband and I have had cats living with us for a long, long time. Currently two fuzzy creatures share our home. They are quite the characters, giving us lots of companionship and laughs. So choosing cat images for hooked rugs seemed a natural for me.

Bobcat was adapted from a 1990s local telephone book cover (artist unknown). This was my third rug, which was done totally in #3-cut wool—even the background and border. A large variety of grays and light tans were used for the body of the cat. A red nose and green-gold eyes seemed right for it.
