Camps and Workshops - The International Guild of Handhooking Rugmakers

We invite you to come to western Canada to join the celebration! The 8th Tri-Ennial of TIGHR  will be October 4–7, 2015, at the Inn at Laurel Point, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. We gather every three years for friendship, sharing, and inspiration, and the upcoming meeting location is especially accessible to those of us in North America.

In 1994, a group of rug hookers gathered in England and established an international organization with the simple focus of rug making and friendship. The mission statement reads:  “The International Guild of Handhooking Rugmakers is a global organization of creative people who come together in friendship to share ideas and to explore the different techniques of the art of rugmaking using a variety of fibres.”
