I’ve been hooking realistic animals for many years. Most of my projects are #4 cuts and while people admire them, many say, “I couldn’t do that; I only hook with wide cuts.” I explained textures were my secret to realism and you can use wide cuts. I saw the skeptical looks and decided the time had come to create an example. That one example turned into a series, and I’d like to share them with you.
