"This rug is special to me because I loved the photo and it was the first time I used #8 cuts to create a realistic animal. The eyes are my favorite part, and they hooked very quickly. I found it a little harder to “think big” as I hooked each section, but with practice, it became easier, and I am very happy with the results. This piece hangs in my house, and it’s the first thing I see each time I enter the house. He’s so dramatic; I always enjoy seeing him hanging on the wall."
