"The eyes. This dog was a very special pet, and you can see why when you look at these eyes. Hooking a pet that is mostly white creates challenges, but by looking closely, you can see the various colors and values throughout the white. The vines created a very realistic background, and the dog was realistic, so I had to create a realistic wicker bench. By studying my visual aid, thinking, and planning as I hooked the dog and background, I was able to determine a way to create the realistic wicker, which can be used for baskets, etc."
