Celebration 30 Readers’ Choice

Here at RHM, the year revolves around Celebration cycle. In the fall, we send out the Call for Entries in the magazine and on our website, and rug hookers around the world enter their masterpieces. In January, the judges get to work, reviewing all the entries (. . . with lots of “Oohs!” and “Aahhhs!” and “Will you look at that!”) In the spring and summer, we work on the Celebration book, getting it ready for the annual launch at Sauder Village Rug Hooking Week, to our book club, and out to the world.
Once the book is released and in everyone’s hands, we ask our readers to tell us what rugs are their favorites. Those are tabulated on our website as well, and it is always fun to watch the tally come in. Then, in the March/April/May issue, about 18 months after the process begins, we can show you the results of the Readers’ Choice. RHM
