Hooking feathers is my comfort food of fiber art. There is something so freeing and rejuvenating about creating these simple beauties—I don’t know if it’s that there is no wrong way to do them, or the endless possibilities of colors and textures, or if it is that I can use up leftovers pieces of yarn, wool, or any other fabric bits that I can cut up; no need to buy anything new. Regardless, they are my go-to design when I feel in a slump and want something relaxing and uplifting to hook.
