"I guess sometimes you have to have a little fun. I went out of my safety zone with Hoot. Artist David Galchutt gave LCS Wool and Silk permission to do his paintings for rug hooking. I tried to stay with his colors. After all, that was one of the things that caught my eyes. A lot of casserole-, dip-, spot- and swatch-dyeing went into Hoot. He took “1st place” and “Viewer’s Choice” at the Maryland State Fair in 2015. The border is done in a triple row of whipping. I think it gave him a nice finish."
