"My goal in this particular rug was to make each piece of sushi (some of my favorites) recognizable to the viewer. Top left to right, fotomaki and tuna hand roll. At the bottom left is tobiko with quail egg, and at the center, top to bottom, are salmon, tuna, shrimp, and omelet sushi. Finally, at the bottom right, top to bottom, are a tuna roll, salmon and cucumber roll, and a California roll. Looks delicious all these years later."
