"This rug was fun to do. Although it was a purchased pattern, I was able to make it My Town by adding businesses that were important to me. They include a bakery, a bank, my mom's business (Flo's Stitchery), and of course, my business, Lyle Drier Antiques. I also added a park with a bridge over the river. I wanted to have a fountain in the park, but try as I might, when hooked, it looked like a toilet. Needless to say, it went away!"
- Lyle Drier, Celebration Hall of Fame 2018
