Designer Showcase: Snow Day

Once winter digs in, many Mainers start wishing for a snowy landscape. If it is going to be cold, it may as well be beautiful! As a mother of two boys who lived for “snow days,” I remember those days spent sledding and having fun on a small hill on our property with the neighborhood gang of boys. They were even known to get the snowblower out to blow more snow on the hill to make jumps! Those were good days. There was always a large pile of wet snowsuits, gloves, and socks inside the door, and my, were those boys hungry.
